SWITCH

In 2001 in Paris, we photographed our first Switches from a cathode ray tube TV, with our Hasselbald camera (Biogon) loaded with 6 x 6 black and white positive films (Agfa Scala).

These photographs, we called Pilot, were a prefiguration of our future pictorial work, Switch, based on many hours of video recording, where we turned the TV on and off in a loop.

À Paris en 2001, nous avons photographié nos premières fermetures d’écran avec notre Hasselblad (Biogon) et des films positifs 6 x 6 en noir et blanc (Agfa Scala), à partir d’un téléviseur à tube cathodique.

Nous les avons intitulées Pilot. Ces photographies devaient être la préfiguration de notre futur travail pictural, Switch, d’après de nombreuses heures d’enregistrement vidéo, où nous éteignions et rallumions la télévision en boucle.
